Blanket progress update!

Now that I've finished the granny hat/scarf order from before Christmas I have time to complete these blankets for babies! I'm also almost finished with the granny hats that were ordered after dropping off an order last month.

Mission: Granny Hats [Accomplished!]

I finally finished my last granny hat/scarf order! I feel bad that it took so long, but I was able to get them done, even with finals and moving!

I get to start finishing up the other things that have been ordered now! (plus those scarfs are dreadfully boring to make!)

School is bringin' the adventure down...

I feel like such a slacker. I haven't posted in a while, but for good reason. I wish I could say it was because my hands have been so busy crocheting that I haven't had time. However, the truth is, it's finals week and school work is apparently more important than yarn crafts.

:(

On the plus side, I'm almost finished with my list of granny hats/scarves! I just have 1 scarf left to finish, then to deliver them! I did receive a request for 2 more hats (a much less complicated pattern, thank the Lord) from one of the gentlewomen I delivered a hat to last month.

And I also woke up yesterday with a message that I sold another item on Etsy! And the lucky hat purchased will be spending the rest of it's days in AUSTRALIA! That should be pretty awesome, I'm so jealous. haha!

Sadly though, the Trogdor blanket has been forced to the back burner for now. I should be able to continue working on it soon though!

Two Skeins of Blue Face Worsted Yarn in Pumpkin King Giveaway

2 Skeins of Blue Face Worsted Yarn in Pumpkin King
Gifted By Dragonfly Fibers

We are giving away two skeins of Blue Face Worsted Yarn in Pumpkin King to one lucky winner.  This gorgeous artisan yarn retails for $24 a hank, but it is so worth the money!  Each 4 oz. hank features 200 yards of hand painted yarn spun for its strength and durability.  I'm making a nice autumn cowl out of my stash, but this yarn could easily be used for a fall sweater, mittens or a hat.
